Another Fantastic Semi-Final

Zoe Kelly Last night was a night to remember for the ages. Not only did we have some of Inverclyde's own most talented individuals perform, we also had some other acts from the west of Scotland come all the way here to put on one brilliant show.

The show was in full swing with around 400 people in the audience, and what a fantastic audience they where. They really gave our acts a great reception, and really got into their performance.

Now that both our semi-finals are over, its nearly time for us to reveal who will make it through to the Megastars 2010 Final, which will be held in the Greenock Town Hall on the 21st May.

Before we announce the full list of contestants for the final, we will first be announcing the top acts voted of the night voted for by the audience. These acts will automatically make into the final, thanks to the support of the audience.

The top acts will be announced this Wednesday on Inverclyde Radio. So make sure you tune into Nicola McCready's "Lyrical Live" at 6pm till 8pm to find out if you are one of these acts the our fantastic audience put through.

We would also like to give a huge thanks to Zoe Kelly, for coming all the way down to be our host for the night. Don't you think she did a great job? She really got the crowd going, especially with her entrance to Eye Of The Tiger! We Hope to see her working with us again in the future.

Gamble Halls a Huge Success

Thomas Williams On Saturday 17th March, Megastars held its first 2010 semi-final in the Gourock Gamble Halls. The show was not only fantastic but it was a complete sell out days before the event happened.

We had some of the Inverclyde's most talented artists put on a spectacular show, which 4 of them making it through to the final due being the top acts voted for by our audience. The rest of the acts will have to wait till the Port Glasgow Semi-final over before they find out if they make it through to the final held in the Greenock Town hall.

We would like to give a big thanks to Thomas Williams, our fabulous host for the night. We would like him to know he did a great job, you wouldn't even a guessed it was his first time being a host.

We would also like to thank our contestants for coming and giving us a great show, as well as the fantastic audience that came to support them.
